ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. Reviews, processes and pays all authorized invoices. Ensures timely entry of data to automated system. Maintains vendor file including vendor numbers and responds to vendor inquiry regarding payment. Maintains files of paid and unpaid invoices and purchase orders. Assists with annual audit. Prepares, verifies and distributes checks; files copies. Responds to expenditure questions from District responsibility centers. Prepares information in response to ad hoc requests for payment histories. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor. JOB SPECIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate or equivalent with 3 years accounting/bookkeeping experience. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
